Careful with those flowers!

When we are coordinating a wedding, we are focusing on the details. All those tiny details some people don't think about.

For instance.

These flowers turned up to the wedding early. It was warm outside. They were needed to go out, but we knew that if we put the flowers out too soon, they would wilt.

So, here is a tip.

Leave the flowers in a cool place, preferably inside in air conditioning, until the last minute. Put the boutonnieres in the fridge until just before the bridal party is ready to go.

Then have someone, preferably your coordinator, put the flowers out just before the guests or the photo time.

That way you have beautiful flowers at your ceremony and on your tables at the reception.

This is the real secret of life — to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now. And instead of calling it work, realize it is play. ― Alan W. Watts
